The artist also works with clay and metal which are used to shape the motives before transforming it in pictures and actual fabric designs or  jewelry.

Eliana is an artisan, a self-tought artist with a disability (she suffers from chronic pain) and Art is a relaxing  way she found to deal with it. She uses special tools to work such as clay, natural colours and in the end , she photographs her art which gets a final touch of mixed media and graphic design. As a Brazilian born, she grew up  fascinated by colours in a place called Salvador da Bahia, known as "land of happiness". As a Dutch and European citizen she has travelled a lot and  and lived in many countries where she appreciated the culture and landscape. She is  mostly inspired by humans and nature. As a lawyer she learnt that there is much to be done in terms of social and universal rights to be recognized and applied into practice. She is concerned about and inspired by human rights, literature, urban and natural landscapes and environmental issues.
